1. What are the minimum eligibility criteria for admission to MPPLG program?
   Reply: Please check the eligibility page of this portal by clicking the corresponding button.
2. I am a commerce/arts graduate, am I eligible to apply in MPPLG?
   Reply: Yes, but your program duration must be Not less the four years duration.
3. What are the documents required during application?
   Reply: Following documents are required to fill the online application form:
   - EWS/OBC (Non-creamy)/SC/ST/PD certificate (if applicable)
   - Qualifying Degree Certificates as mentioned in the Eligibility Criteria.
4. I am in the last semester of my Bachelor program, am I eligible to apply in MPPLG?
   Reply: Yes. You are eligible to apply. Please upload your previous (Last available) semester grade sheet showing your percentage of marks in the application portal. If you are selected, your admission will be provisional subject to meeting the required eligibility criteria.
5. I have not received my final degree certificate, what should I do?
   Reply: Please upload your final semester grade sheet in the application portal.
6. Is there any fee for the application?
   Reply: Yes, a non-refundable amount as stated below:
   - Male (General/EWS/OBC) – INR 3000
   - SC/ST/PwD/Female Candidates/Third-Gender Candidates – INR 1500
   
7. Is there any waiver in the application fee for SC/ST/Female candidates?
   Reply: Yes, there is a reduced fee for SC/ST/PwD/Female Candidates/Third Gender candidates i.e. Rs 1500/-.
8. I am facing technical difficulties while filling the application. Whom should I contact?

9. I have paid the fees, but it is not reflecting in the portal. Whom should I contact?
   Reply: Please write a mail to admissions@coepplg.iitkgp.ac.in with a copy of your registration id and transaction detail.
10. When will be the exam conducted?
    Reply: The Written Test will be conducted on March 16, 2025 tentatively.
11. What is the exam pattern?
    Reply: The examination will be a Written Test comprising of two parts: Part I consists of following sections: English: 25 questions, Quantitative Aptitude: 25 questions, Part II consists of following sections: Current Affairs: 25 questions, Logical Reasoning: 25 questions, . There will be 100 Multiple Choice Questions carrying 1 mark each.
    The final selection will be based on marks obtained in the Written Test, Discussion & Personal Interview. There is no negative marking.
12. Will the entrance be online?
    Reply: Computer Based Test.
13. Do I need to send a hard copy of the application?
    Reply: No.
14. What is the fee for this course?
    Reply: INR 2,00,000 per semester (Tuition Fee).
15. Can I get loan from bank to finance my studies?
    Reply:  Yes, you can. The banks have on several occasions in the past financed the studies of the students of the Institute.
16. Will there be any refund if I don’t want to appear for exam?
    Reply: No, once the fee is paid, there is no refund even if you don’t appear for exam.
17. Can I change my exam center?
    Reply:If a request is made well in advance, then the matter can be considered subject to other conditions.
18. Can I get any extension for applying to MPPLG program?
    Reply: No, the application must be filled in by the given deadline.
19. When the result will be declared?
    Reply: Generally, the result is declared tentatively within 1 month from the date of entrance examination. The exact date will be updated in the website.
20. Where can I see the result?
    Reply: The list of selected candidates will be published in the Institute website.
21. When will the session begin in MPPLG?
    Reply: The semester will begin in July, 2025 (Tentative, May be subject to change).
22. By mistake I have filled EWS in the category section and saved it, but could not furnish EWS certificate. Is there any provision by which I can edit the category section and rectify the mistake?
    Reply: Please contact GATE Office, IIT Kharagpur Phone: +91 3222 282095 and send mail to cbt@adm.iitkgp.ac.in stating your Application ID.
23. I am a working executive, whether I will be allowed to pursue this course simultaneously?
    Reply: No, it is a fulltime residential course.
24. I am a working professional whether I am eligible for this course?
    Reply: Yes, provided that you produce a No objection certificate (NOC) and due approval for leave (02 years) from the employer.
25. I have appeared for Written Test and Group Discussion but missed Personal Interview, whether I am eligible for admission?
    Reply: No, you have to complete the process which means you have to mandatorily appear for Written Test, Group Discussion & Personal Interview for getting into merit list for admission.
